Looking to lose weight BMF Part 23
Scot was the trainer tonight, normally ok, not usually a killer session, he must have had the devil in him tonight, as he really went for it.
His obsession tonight was knees up, high knees, technique. It was a monster session, my knees definitely hurt. Nice to see the newbies Nat and Nina return, although it was funny to see they probably enjoyed it less than I did and thats saying something. Not so many tonight, but its the quality that counts. Apparently Scot is taking the next few sessions at Jacksons, and has some delights in store. Immediate fear kicks in and you think, right Im not going on Monday. But what would be the point of that. The deal is to challenge yourself. I could be at home running around and pretending to exercise or I could be outside with like minded people being encouraged to push that little bit harder, and beat my best. I will be there.
Today, my shoulders are sore from Monday night’s push ups and my knees now hurt from the raising of them, plus my foot hurts like billio. However, the flip side to all that pain is that I think I sweated off loads of fat, Simply must have.
Here is my kicker and revelation, of no use to anyone but me, but its hopefully going to lead me into a better position. Fitness cant just be about exercise, it is clearly about diet, lifestyle, all kinds of elements. I am going to chart mine (and Im guessing at these) I have picked elements I think will change my life, if you think of something important, please let me know. The idea is, that I will score myself in terms of a percentage 1 being low and 100 top. Then I am going to add in elements to my daily routine that will hopefully change those scores upwards. Of course life might get in the way and knock scores down. Im not saying this is the right way, but its the way I am going to play it.
Fitness – 29 my general level of fitness simple
Diet – 15 the standard of diet and portion size
Happiness – 35 how happy I am with circumstances
Well being – 60 my general health level (not fitness based)
Strength – 55 as it says on the tin
Technology Dependance – 15 how much Im relying on tech at home, phone telly computer etc, this is a reverse score so the lower number is bad on this one
Sleep – 25 how restful and complete my sleep is
Hydration – 35 how hydrated I am
Spirituality – 39 not sure how to define this but I know what I mean
You might disagree with my scores but it is relative in my mind, as I say, Im open to other ideas,
