British Military Fitness Part 3

I would not want you to think that because of all the pain, that I am hating this, on the contrary, I am absolutely loving it, and although I do hurt, a lot, I am more full of energy than you could possibly imagine. I looked at the calories for BMF in a session for an average man, about 700 calories, I figure as a heavy dude it must be more than that, remember though Im not concentrating on weight loss. Im working on getting there, doing my thing and enjoying the process. The weather tonight was foggy, and rainy, not cold, perfect conditions I think.

So in comes another instructor, nice fella, and he casually says medicine ball training. My mind immediately kicked into panic mode as I have done kettlebell training and I imagine this was going to be worse. Even worse than that, there was only three of us, two greens and me. All those others not turning out. I can see already that the hardest part of this is getting yourself out of the house into the exercise, once you have done that your mind can kick neutral and away you go.

The worst for me was the inevitable quad exercises. What is it with the fascination with these bad boys? Im shifting 20stone plus each, this aint no disco man.

Holy Captain Caveman, this was the worst one to date, and I chundered quite violently. I have taken a piccie of this stage of my evolution, but it is for the future, when I can put it side by side with my vision.

The nasty gentleman tells me quite confidently that I will struggle to lift a cup of tea tomorrow, well that bodes well doesn’t it. Happy days and roll on Monday!
